KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 — At least eight important protocols or conventions by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must be signed and ratified before Malaysia can explore generating electricity using nuclear energy.

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 23 (Bernama) — The Court of Appeal today dismissed an appeal by three individuals to challenge the then Pakatan Harapan (Harapan) cabinet’s decision to grant Lynas Malaysia Sdn Bhd an extension of licence in 2019 to operate its rare earth processing facility.

JAKARTA, Oct 13 — A delegation from the Department of Atomic Energy, Malaysia, visited Indonesia to study the regulations and management of radioactive waste by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), reported Antara  news agency. 

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 — The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (Mosti) has sent a special team to study the report of a resident in Pekan Sepupok Lama, Niah, Sarawak on a debris found in the area, said its minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.
